If you are planning to visit Toraja then here are some recommendations of accomodations from us. All of these places are around Rantepao to make it easier for you to visit all tourist destinations around Toraja and North Toraja.

  • Rosalina Homestay
This homestay is owned by Enos, a local tour guide in Toraja. The rooms are equipped with a fan, private bathroom, WiFi, there is a water dispenser near the breakfast area if you want to drink, make coffee or tea.
The room is IDR 250,000/ night including breakfast.

  • Ne'pakku Manja Homestay
Another homestay which is owned by a local tour guide. Meyske is really friendly and hospitable. The homestay is located in a Tongkonan complex outside the town center, which is good if you want to have a quiet environment.
The room is IDR 350,000 including breakfast.

  • Toraja Lodge


Also owned by a local tour guide in Toraja. The room is clean, spacious, and have a nice  views from the balcony. The room is IDR 300.000/ night. Including breakfast.







  • Santai Toraja Hotel
Santai Toraja is a boutique hotel that has two types of rooms. There is deluxe suite atau the first floor and deluxe rice field view suite at the upper floor. The rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, balconies, and hot water. It is located a bit outside of Rantepao so it's quiet and has beautiful rice field view. 








  • Pia's Poppies
Pia's Poppies is a hotel that is operating by a local Torajan family since 1982. Now it has 22 comfortable rooms with private bathroom and hot water shower. If you want to have dinner there are many restaurants in walking distance. One that is popular is Kaana Toraya Coffee. But if you are tired and don't want to go outside, this hotel also has a restaurant.
